The Sharjah Training and Development Center (STDC) is a joint effort of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) with the School of Business and Management at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) established to provide learning and development opportunities for businesses in Sharjah and the UAE.
Our vision is to strengthen Sharjah as an international business hub, based on a model of increasing sustainability and integration of economic activity with the needs of the community.
Our mission is to enhance the capabilities of businesses and government organizations in Sharjah by providing life-long learning opportunities in courses and programs that integrate Gulf and global perspectives.
Our strength lies in having the AUS faculty as trainers to ensure the reliability and high quality standards of the training and learning provided through their expertise and knowledge. In addition, being located at the SCCI provides access to state-of-the-art training facilities at a location in the heart of Sharjah.
The STDC provides training that builds the abilities of professionals in both the private and public sectors. Courses are grouped into the following areas:

How It Works
Each section contains a list of the course modules offered. Descriptions for each module show whether the material is appropriate for business people, government officials or both.
Certification
Certificates of completion are provided for each module. To qualify, a participant must attend at least 80 percent of the scheduled hours and successfully complete any assignments.
Registration
Participants should register not less than one month prior to the course. An additional fee will apply to registrations received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled course. Custom Courses
Custom courses are tailored to an organization’s need. They can be either on-site or in the SCCI facilities. Organizations are encouraged to contact us directly for more information about custom courses.
